Treehouse Coffee Shop grand re-opening
After months of waiting, people found their way to the newly designed Treehouse Coffee Shop Monday.
Four months after closing the doors on the old location, Treehouse opened its new store Monday. With a store front around three times larger than the old shop, Owner Lindsay Anderson was all smiles as customers filled the shop.
“It’s awesome, my face hurts from smiling all day,” Anderson exclaimed. “It’s just permanently fixed. It’s been really nice seeing my regulars that I haven’t seen for four months. It feels so good to be embraced and supported like this on our first day.”
Windows surround the new store, and Anderson feels that brings in the light and gives the shop a completely different atmosphere than before. She said that’s one of the many things uplifting the staff’s morale.
“I think we’re all a little more confident to work here,” Anderson said. “We’ve had the experience of working in a little shop. Now this feels like home.”
Anderson said four months didn’t scare anyone away, and the regular customers came back to the store along with new ones, and Anderson welcomed them back with open arms. Treehouse’s new location is at the corner of Market and 4th streets in downtown Zanesville.
