Tri-Valley Alum Jones Named New Football Head Coach

ZANESVILLE, OH – One of Tri-Valley’s own is ready to lead the Scotties’ football program in 2026.
Austin Jones is the school’s new head coach after former coach Cameron West once again stepped away to solely focus on his duties as the school’s principal.
Jones graduated in 2013 as one of the all-time great athletes, not only for football, but he was a star year-round on the wrestling mat and baseball diamond.
He received All-Ohio recognition in three of his four years as a dominant running back and linebacker for the Scotties.
After he finished his college career at Division III level Otterbein, Jones soon after returned to the program, where he has since served as offensive coordinator and running backs coach.
Jones looks to replicate the Tri-Valley success from 2025, in which the team was the outright Muskingum Valley League big school champion, and finished the year with a 9-3 overall record.
