Tri-Valley Scotties football preview

DRESDEN, Ohio – The Tri-Valley Dawgs have dominated the gridiron in recent memory, but need fresh faces to step up in 2016 to stay on top of the MVL.

After capturing their fifth straight league title a season ago, the Dawgs left behind just three returning starters and must replace their entire offensive and defensive lines.

First team all-MVL selections Colin Slaboden (WR/DB) and Cody Collins (RB/LB) are two key pieces returning to a lineup that features depth at skill positions. Junior quarterback Andrew Newsom split time under center last season and will serve as the Dawgs’ starting signal caller.

The Dawgs open their season at home versus Columbus power Marion-Franklin.
