Tristan Hatfield

Tristan “Slim” Kane Hatfield, 23 of Zanesville died Friday morning, November 3, 2023 at his home following complications of Addison’s disease.
He was born on Sunday, September 17, 2000 in Zanesville, Ohio. Tristan “Slim” was a graduate of Philo High School where he was a member of the varsity golf team in addition to the Appalachian Archery Conference which he placed 2nd in the State of Ohio his senior year. He left for the Air Force shortly after graduation from high school and was a proud member of the AMMO division where he met lifelong friends. His military career came to an end after being diagnosed with Addison’s disease. Most recently, he worked at Xtreme Motorcycle of Cambridge in the parts department where he became a Pro One-Wheeler. When he was not working, he enjoyed riding his motorcycles and taking pictures of his journeys. He will always be remembered not only for his goofy personality, but also for the thoughtful, caring heart that so many were lucky enough to share.
Tristan “Slim” is survived by his parents, PJ and Billie Jo (Adair) Rapol; his lifelong best friend and sister Samantha “Parker” Hatfield; stepsister, Amber (Mario) Garcia; 2 nieces, Maleah and Sophia; a nephew, Giovanni; grandparents, Jeff (Karen) Adair, Gloria Stanger, Pete (Vicki) Rapol and Judy Hatfield; several uncles, aunts, cousins and bonus family, Bob Miller and Patty Boggs. Tristan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Denny Stanger; great-grandmother, Lillian Moore; and great-grandfather, Howard Miller Sr.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2023 with funeral service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Patty Boggs leading the service. Burial with Military Honors will conclude at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
There will be a reception following services at the K of C of Zanesville.
