Troy Hiles

57 Chevy

Troy E. Hiles, 60, of Crooksville, passed away peacefully at his residence in the afternoon hours on February 4, 2026, with his loving wife Wilma by his side. Born on September 30, 1965, in Zanesville, Ohio, Troy was a son of the late Terry and Debbie (Sawyers) Hiles. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his wife, Wilma (Dusenberry) Hiles, a special brother-in-law, Eddie Holmes. For many years, Troy was a truck driver for Putnam Transfer, where he retired after a long and fulfilling career that was cut short due to health reasons. Troy was a man of many interests and talents. His passion for motorcycles was evident to anyone who knew him. Troy also had a remarkable talent for working on and restoring classic and muscle cars. He was a true jack of all trades, often found tinkering in his garage, transforming pieces of metal and machinery into works of art. Troy’s skill in rebuilding and restoration was not just a hobby; it was a craft he perfected over the years. His work was showcased at car shows, where he took pride in the admiration his cars received. Each vehicle he restored was a chapter in his story, a narrative of patience, precision, and the pursuit of excellence. The family has chosen to celebrate his memory privately and a dignified cremation will take place under the direction of Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville.
