Tullius Sentenced On Sex Charge
The father of one of the boys who went missing in the Muskingum River last summer is sentenced on an unrelated sex charge. In April in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court 30-year-old John Tullius pled guilty to gross sexual imposition charges. In return for his plea two rape charges and one gross sexual imposition charge were dropped. Judge Kelly Cottrill sentenced Tullius to 60 months in prison. He was also classified as a Tier II Sex Offender and must register every 180 days for 25 years. Last June, Tullius’ two year old son Anthony was camping near Ellis Dam when he and his three year old brother Ayden Cecil went missing. Ayden’s body was found later that day in the river; Anthony’s body has never been recovered. The boy’s mother Kasey Klein and Step-father were sentenced to 12 years in prison in connection with their deaths.
