Two Arrested in New Straitsville Bust
Two New Straitsville residents are in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail facing drug charges.
35-year-old Christopher Sherrick and 38-year-old Cynthia Sherrick were arrested Wednesday night.
According to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, officers received a tip someone was growing marijuana at 9544 State Route 93. At the home Deputy Nick Sabo found a marijuana plant growing in the back yard. Prescription pills and drug paraphernalia were also discovered.
The Sherrick’s are both facing misdeameanor charges of illegal manufacturing of drugs, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and also a felony charge of child endangering.
They remain in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
