Two Car Injury Accident in Front of We Luv Pets

Two people were transported to Genesis Hospital after a two car injury accident just after 3 p.m. On Maple Avenue.

We spoke with State Trooper Butler who says Heaven Rucker, age 20, the pregnant driver of a blue Scion, failed to yield on a left turn into the We Luv Pets parking lot.

Emily Powell, 29, of Dresden Road was driving a white Durango north on Maple and hit her on the passenger side. The Scion then hit one of the signs out front and damaged a fire hydrant. Emily Powell, the driver of the white Durango was transported to Genesis with minor cuts and scrapes and Heaven Rucker, the driver of the Scion had to be extricated from the vehicle before being taken to Genesis. She was unresponsive at the scene but has been reported in stable condition.

Falls Township, Community Ambulance, and the State Highway Patrol all responded to the scene. Rucker will be cited for failing to yield on a left turn.
