Two Charged In Pierce Street Drug Bust

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz released more information in connection with a drug bust on Friday.

It happened at 114 Pierce Street in Zanesville.

The Sheriff says two suspects are in custody and have been charged.

31-year-old Takeija Kimbrough is facing five charges including trafficking in crack cocaine and permitting drug abuse.

30-year-old Charles Alfred Workman II is facing six charges including trafficking in crack cocaine and marijuana and illegal manufacturing of drugs.

Kimbrough faces 32 years in prison if convicted while Workman faces more than 40 years in prison.

Sheriff Lutz says detectives seized cocaine, U.S. currency, a firearm and drug paraphernalia from the residence.

This was a joint effort between the recently combined drug units from the Sheriff’s Office and Zanesville Police Department.
