Two Facing Drug Charges in Coshocton

Two people in Coshocton are facing drug charges after detectives executed a search warrant Thursday.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, around 11a.m. Thursday detectives searched a home in the 200 block of North 3rd Street in Coshocton. Detectives seized firearms and large amounts of drugs and cash from the home.  Bernardo Leyva, 65, and Yvonne McDaniel, 43, both from the Coshocton area, were taken into custody and charged with Trafficking in Heroin, a first degree felony. According to the sheriff’s office, new charges may be added pending the outcome of the investigation.
