Two Local Veterans Inducted into the Hall of Fame

The Muskingum County Veterans Hall of fame inducted two new members Wednesday night.

The community was invited to the Muskingum County Veterans Hall of Fame Ceremony at the Zanesville Muskingum County Welcome Center to celebrate the inductions of Robin Davis and William Davis.

“If you sat down and read their bio’s, you would know they are both deserving of being in the hall of fame,” said President of the Veterans Council Jeff Dittmar. “We scrutinize every application we get each year. When you’re a Veteran, things are pretty strict because it’s not about what you did when you were in the service, it’s the things that you do to give back to society.”

Dittmar told us he’ll do whatever he can to see they are appreciated.

“For me, being a Veteran; it’s a special place in my heart, this means a great deal to me. I will do everything I can, with my heart, to let them know they are appreciated,” said Dittmar.

They look forward to honoring the veterans with another round of inductions again next year.
