Two Men Charged In Cambridge Murders

Two Zanesville men have been indicted in connection with the shooting deaths of two Cambridge men. Guernsey County Sheriff Mike McCauley says 20-year-old Elgin Mitchell and 22-year-old Tyler Burrell face multiple charges including two counts each of complicity to commit murder with gun specifications, complicity to commit aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary and two more counts of complicity to commit felonious assault. Mitchell is currently being held in the Muskingum County jail while Burrell remains on the loose. Sheriff McCauley says the two are charged in connection with the shooting death on June 24th of Christopher Morrison and Justain Nelson at Coventry Estate Apartments in Cambridge. Earlier this summer 23-year-old Megan Blanchard of Cambridge and 20-year-old Anjomo Boomer Churchill of Zanesville were charged with complicity to commit aggravated robbery — were convicted – and will be sentenced at a later date. The incident remains under investigation.
