Two Vehicle Fatal Crash in Perry County

Lancaster, Ohio – The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Perry County woman.
The accident happened on Tuesday, September 2, around 4:30 pm on Tatmans Road north of SR 37 in Perry County.
Authorities said A black, 2014, Nissan Rogue, driven by 83-year-old Elma Robison of Corning, was traveling south on Tatmans Road. A silver, 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, driven 34-year-old Alaina Patterson of Crooksville, was traveling north.
The Patrol reported that Robison’s vehicle went left of center and struck Patterson’s vehicle head-on.
Robison and Patterson were transported to local hospitals and a juvenile passenger with Patterson was transported to a Columbus hospital.
Robison was later transferred to a Columbus hospital, where it was reported she succumbed to her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
