Tyler Marcus Jackson, age 39, of Cambridge, passed away at his home on Monday, April 13, 2026. He was born in Cambridge on October 25, 1986, the son of Melonie A. (Jackson) and Larry Neff.
Tyler was a 2005 graduate of John Glenn High School. Over the years, he worked for several local businesses and was most recently employed at Orme’s Hardware. He also cherished his time working at Tux and Stuff.
Creative and thoughtful, Tyler enjoyed arts and crafts, drawing, and had recently begun working with resin. He was an avid reader, loved growing plants, and found joy in gaming—especially old‑school classics. Tyler had a special talent for gift‑giving; he shopped with his heart and always found the perfect present for those he loved.
He adored watching The Golden Girls, Murder, She Wrote, and Matlock. He held a deep fondness for the state of Maine and shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Kobe.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Melonie A. (Jackson) Neff and Larry Neff; his brothers, Kyle (Jessica) Neff and Terry (Olivia McCune) Neff; his special aunt, Titi Itanyi; uncles, Steve (Tracy) Mourer and Michael Jackson; aunt Sheryl Trofibio; nephews, Bentley Neff and Malcolm Neff; and many cousins: Mikayla, Amiya, Jenielle, Uchenna, Ndidi, Kene, Justin, Abby, Kaitlyn, Shawn DeVore, Dakota DeVore, and Donald Weber. He also leaves behind his grandfather, Bob Casey; uncle Keith McNeil; special friends, Todd Decker and Eric Knapp; and numerous friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cora Sue Jackson and Jerry and Rose Abrams; his special aunt, Kim Weber; and uncles Greg Neff and Jim DeVore.
Visitation will be held at Bundy‑Law Funeral Home on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11 a.m., also at Bundy‑Law Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Northwood Cemetery.
