ZANESVILLE, Ohio- An annual Health fair has arrived back in the city of Zanesville.

Saturday concluded the final day of The Community Health Fair at Colony Square Mall.

United Healthcare representative, Hawa Farah said their aim is to target ages sixty five and younger with qualifying disabilities.

“We use to work a lot with Medicaid  but now we work more with Medicare as well. This is for older folks who are sixty-five and above or sixty-five and younger with qualifying disabilities. What we’re bringing here is just more information just so that they know that we include medical, vision and dental, transportation. This catalog shows if they have both Medicaid and Medicare they can also qualify for additional benefits,” said Farah, United Healthcare representative.

While many in the community are still without healthcare, Farah stressed the importance of having health insurance and being knowledgeable on what you’re getting.

“I’ve been coming here for the past three years and it always amazes me to see all of the people, all of the new products, they’re always adding new benefits so it’s good to have health insurance and know what health insurance you’re getting so you’re getting the full package and the full benefit,” said Farah.

This years super hero themed fair also had fun activities for the entire family to enjoy.
