United Way MPM Launches 2024 Campaign
ZANESVILLE, OH – The United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties kicked off their 2024 campaign on August 28th.
This year, the United Way is highlighting how much every donation counts in supporting local programs that help those in need. They’ll be launching a new campaign video every week for the next two weeks to showcase the difference donors can make.
“This year, we created three awesome videos, one will be premiering on August 28th for our education pillar where we’re going to talk about emergency a grant recipient who was one of our recipients for our $500 emergency grants and was able to continue her education past Zane State because of it. Then, the other two that we will be talking about will revolve around health and financial stability and we’ll be talking to Perry Mobility Management and Habitat for Humanity,” Community Engagement Coordinator, Alyssa Moore said.
As a special incentive, anyone who donates $10 by noon tomorrow can enter for a chance to win a $50 gas gift card. It’s easy to participate, just visit the United Way MPM website to make your donation.
“Last year, because of awesome donations from our community members, we were able to impact 12,500 community members within Morgan, Perry and Muskingum counties. A dollar per day increase can help our community with safe housing and utilities, but also if you increase your donation by just a dollar, you will be able to supply 104 meals to local students who are food insecure,” Moore said.
This campaign runs through December, but the United Way MPM accepts donations year around.
