United Way MPM Presents Check to Family Health Services of East Central Ohio
ZANESVILLE, OH – The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties presented a $11,600 check to Family Health Services of East Central Ohio on July 30th.
Family Health Services provides reproductive health and wellness services, including STI testing, treatment, and education. With this donation, they plan to offer free medical services to individuals in Muskingum and Perry County, ensuring that more community members have access to essential healthcare.
“We do nonprofit reproductive health and wellness, and we’re doing STI testing, treatment, and education for the county. We’ll use that to offer free medical services to individuals living in Muskingum County,” Family Health Services of East Central Ohio Executive Director, Ashley Washburn said.
This generous donation is part of the United Way’s initiative to support select partners who applied for spring funding. This donation will enable Family Health Services of East Central Ohio to continue its mission of providing vital healthcare services to those in need, making a positive impact to the lives of many residents in the area.
“Obviously, this aligns perfectly with our health pillar. Bringing access to Muskingum County residents is such an important key of our pillars and our goals,” United Way MPM Community Impact Coordinator, Katie Grubbs said.
