United Way MPM Presents Check to Morgan County Mobility Management

ZANESVILLE, OH – The United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties continues its efforts to support local communities through a series of check presentations.

Today, they presented a check for $5,500 to Morgan County Mobility Management, which offers an innovative approach for managing and delivering transportation services to residents. This funding aims to help residents who are on the borderline of qualifying for assistance, working to close gaps and support those who struggle to get funding.

“It gets them to the doctors and dialysis appointments. I mean, in today’s age we’re going to the doctor a lot. There’s a lot of people who fall in the gap and we’re trying to close that gap.” Mobility Manager, Geroge White said.

The United Way’s ongoing commitment to supporting local organizations is making a significant difference in Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties. By funding essential services like Mobility Management, they are helping improve the quality of life for many residents.

“The United Way does fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community, and we do that by making these partnerships. By partnering with Mobility Managements, and we actually partner with all three of our counties, it helps ensure that there’s access to healthcare for community members that aren’t able to afford medical transportation. We try to make sure that we have these full circle partnerships that can really support community members.” United Way MPM Community Impact Coordinator, Katie Grubbs said.
