United Way of MPM Funding Applications

The United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties announced training dates for their 2015-2016 funding applications this week.

Last year the United Way invested $408,000 dollars in different local non-profit programs. This year they are hoping to surpass that number and impact as many lives as possible.

“We’ve had organizations that have youth mentoring programs that help individuals take care and budget their money, so any non-profits, local non-profits, or tax exempt entities that have programs,” said Community Impact Coordinator for United Way MPM, Amy Davis.

In order to apply for funding from United Way your organization must attend one mandatory training session on February 11th, either at 1:30p.m. or 5:30p.m.

“What we ask is that organizations come, and what we’ll do is we’ll go through the application and we’ll hand out copies of the application, of the letter of intent, and the evaluation,” said Davis. “We’ll go through the process of filling all that stuff out timeline when applications are due when they’re reviewed, when organizations would find out about funding, and when funding would start.”

For more information or questions about the investment process call Amy Davis at (740) 454-6872.
