United Way Says Thank You

The United Way, on its second day of the 2014-2015 Campaign Kick-off Week, said thank you.

A leadership reception was held at the Zanesville Museum of Art from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. for its Zane Gray Society members. Erick Holsky, Campaign Chairman for the United Way gave us a little incite of who these members are.

"Yes, it’s really a thank you event for our Zane Gray Society" said Holsky. "What the Zane Gray Society represent are our individuals givers who have donated at least $1,000 in the past year."

Holskey also says that these members are the core contributors to the campaign and they are relied on year after year.

"Again, the consistency is the very important part. We have the need year, after year. People come and go, jobs come and go as we know, the economy is down these people are solid as a rock and come through every year for us."

The event began with remarks from Holsky and executive director Meg Deedrick. Those remarks included thanking donors, outlining the campaign week, and also pre-releasing numbers for the united way’s pace setters campaign. Those numbers will be publicly announced at the Live United: Meet and Greet on Friday.
