***UPDATE*** Shots Fired in Zanesville

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating multiple shots being fired in Zanesville.

Officers responded to the area of 621 South Street around 10:00 p.m. Sunday. Lieutenant Chris Rice confirmed that multiple shots were fired and one person was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. Rice said the victim is a male around 30 years old and was conscious when he was transported.

Currently, police do not have a suspect, but officers recovered a revolver in the road near the address where the shooting occurred. We will keep you updated as we get more information.
