UPDATE: Truck Driver Released from Genesis after Semi Rollover

The driver of a commercial truck was released from the hospital after a crash on I-70 Friday night.

Just after 9 p.m. the semi was headed east bound on I-70 and lost control near mile marker 168, just outside of New Concord. The truck crossed the median and overturned onto the right side, blocking both west bound lanes and striking a guardrail. The driver was transported to Genesis Hospital for minor injuries and has since then been released.

The interstate was closed until 3:40 a.m. The driver is being charged with failure to control.
