Utica Man Dies in Tractor Accident

A Licking County man has died in a tractor accident.
 

It happened Thursday on Pleasant Valley Road in Eden Township.
 

According to the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, 88-year-old Ralph Hughes was standing at the rear of a tractor while working on a three point hitch.
 

Authorities say the tractor, which wasn’t running, rolled backwards and injured Hughes.
 

He was taken to Knox Community Hospital where he later died.
