ZANESVILLE, OHIO- The Varsity Foundation will be hosting its inaugural SportsBash this February at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.

The Varsity Foundation was founded in 2016 as a non-profit charitable organization benefiting the youth of the community.

On Saturday, February 25, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Veterans Complex at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds, the Varsity Foundation will be raffling off dozens of sports memorabilia, presenting live boxing all day provided by P-A-L Boxing, professional athlete appearances and signings during the event.

“I know how important both athletics and other extracurricular activities are,” said Rob Sharrer, Owner/President at Varsity Title.  “Things like that were important to me growing up, so we want to make sure that the youth of Muskingum County has those same opportunities.”

Sharrer said that they are seeking out any youth sport/extracurricular activity related organizations that are trying to raise money for their organization.

“We’ve offered an opportunity for them to sell tickets to the event.”  Sharrer said that tickets are available for purchase at $50 per ticket.  “If these organizations partner with us and sell tickets, the Varsity Foundation will cut twenty-five percent of the total tickets they sell and write a check for that amount back to the organization.”

To purchase tickets, please visit Varsity Title at 1901 Dresden Road or visit www.varsityfoundation.com.
