Vehicle, Not Driver, At Fault

The Zanesville Police Department has completed its investigation into a fatal accident this summer at Putnam Hill Park.

According to Lt. Tony Coury, no charges will be filed against the driver 24-year-old Joshua Lobuono of Zanesville. Lobuono’s grandfather 89-year-old Walter Scipio of Zanesville was killed in the July 27th crash.

Lt. Coury says it appears the crash was caused by vehicle defects. Lobuono was unable to stop the vehicle and hit a tree.
