Vicki Day

Vicki Linn Day, 76, of Byesville, passed away Monday (October 28, 2024) at her home.

She was born February 21, 1948 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Fred Denny and Eloise (Ingersoll) Denny.

Vicki had worked at NCR for several years. She was a member of the VFW and the Eagles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Day, who passed away August 29, 2023. They were married in September of 1973. Also deceased are two siblings: her brother, Christopher; and her sister, Deborah.

Vicki is survived by her brother, Fred Day; two step-grandchildren, Katrina Day and Devin Day; a step-great-grandson, Koltyn; a niece, Courtney Denny; her adopted son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kimberly Jarrett; her adopted grandchildren, Elijah, Kiersten, Gage, and Kylie; special friends who were more like family: Gary & Teresa Hewison, and Greg & Elizabeth “Tin Lizzie” Higgins; and a host of friends whom she came to know and love.

Private services were held. Burial followed at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge. Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, handled arrangements.
