Vista Golf Course Grand Opening

A local golf course is hosting it’s grand opening Friday September 3rd.

Even though the Vista Golf Course has reopened by new management in July they want people people to come enjoy a event filled weekend for a great price.

"My goal is to have as many people out here as we can. We want everyone to have a good time. We have some entertainment for everyone. McHugh Dodge Jeep is our main sponsor. They are going to sponsor us on Sunday. Every par three is going to have a prize on it. If you hit a hole in one on number 18 you can win 10,000 dollars or you could put that towards a brand new car," Ryan Schmidt Vista Golf Course Manager said.

Schmidt said everyone that participates in the hole in one gets a $50.00 gift certificate to use online to buy golf equipment. You can also get a round of golf, with car, and have lunch or dinner for $20.00 a day all weekend long.

"We’re going to have a great time. We really just want people to come out and see what’s been done and accomplished in a short period of time and all the improvements and things they we are making to the golf course," Schmidt said.  Vista Golf Course used to be known as Vista View golf course.
