Wanda Ervin

Wanda “Jane” Ervin, 76, of Roseville, passed away on September 26, 2024, at her residence after an extended illness. Born on December 10, 1947, in Meigs County, Wanda lived a life characterized by her unwavering faith, her devotion to her family, and her kind-hearted nature. She is survived by her loving children, Floyd D. Ervin and Sheila (Jeff) Lee, both of Roseville, and Wanda (Scott) Miller of Circleville; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Isaac) Hodges and Justin (Ashley) Lee, and her treasured great-grandchildren, Hayden, Jace, and Braxton Lee. Also left to mourn her passing are her brother, Floyd “Dick” Graves of Zanesville; sisters, Karen Waggle of Zanesville and Joan Trump of Crooksville; and her special cousin, Donna Sue (Jack) Maxwell. Wanda’s life was marked by her commitment to her role as a homemaker, a vocation she approached with the grace and dedication of a true domestic goddess. She was a pillar of the Roseville Church of the Nazarene until its closure, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Wanda’s involvement in her church community was profound; she taught Sunday School for many years, directed the Children’s Caravan program, and was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Known for her gentle spirit, Wanda’s generosity knew no bounds. She lived her faith through her actions, always putting others before herself and spreading kindness wherever she went. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was a family gathering, a quiet evening at home, or simply being in the presence of her dog, Cotton, those moments were the ones she treasured most. Wanda was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Daniel L. Ervin, with whom she shared a beautiful union beginning on November 22, 1964; her beloved parents, Floyd and Elma (Spears) Graves, her brother, William Graves and her brother-in-law, Gary Waggle. Calling hours will be held Monday September 30, 2024, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N Main Street, Roseville, where funeral services will begin at 1:00pm with Pastor Walt Gessner officiating.
