Wanda Klinger-Bastin, 1927 – 2019

Wanda M. Klinger-Bastin, 92, died 5:20 PM, Friday, July 12, 2019, at Beckett House in New Concord, Ohio. She was born Wednesday, June 22, 1927 in Cheshire, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur Gardner and Emma Lou (Yeauger) Gardner.

Wanda spent most of her life in the Columbus area and enjoyed a lifetime career in the retail industry. She was an avid bowler; greatly enjoyed shopping, which was her favorite pastime; but most of all she was and animal lover. She always had a little dog as her K-9 companion.

Wanda is survived by several nieces and nephews including: Janice (Jack) McFerren of Zanesville and Carol Sprang of Westerville; one sister-in-law: Wilma Gardner of St. Petersburg, FL; several great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Russell Klinger; her 2nd husband: Lester Bastin; four brothers and two sisters.
