Warmer Weather Brings Opportunity to Explore Higher Education

ZANESVILLE, OH – The weather is starting to warm up and with that, it brings new opportunities for exploration.
Ohio University Zanesville offers Campus Tours all year round, but now is the perfect time for high school students looking at their next steps.
Audryonah Henderson, the Regional Recruitment Manager at Ohio University Zanesville, says doing a tour before signing up for classes can help students meet peers, teachers, as well as seeing what the Campus looks like firsthand.
“I also think it’s nice because they get to connect with me.” Henderson said. “I usually give the tours, for the most part, so if they have questions about any of the academic stuff or any of the degrees they’re wanting to do, they can kind of get all of that talked through, especially if they’re coming in as undecided.”
Henderson says if you have a career field that you’re interested in pursuing, she can coordinate with the Professors to get a more in depth feel for some classes.
“Sometimes the days change and right now we have [tours] on Monday’s, so they can see what it looks like when students are on campus.” Henderson said. “They change throughout but they are [offered] all year round.”
