Water Main Break on Maple Avenue

A water main break is causing a traffic jam on Maple Avenue in Zanesville.

Ted Stevens of the Zanesville Water Department said the right lane of Maple Avenue is closed heading northbound near Bryan & Snider Funeral Home.

Stevens said drivers are being directed to Taylor Street as an alternate route.  He said he’s unsure when the lane will reopen, but a crew is on the scene trying to fix the problem.
