Wava Spragg

Wava Jean Spragg, 100, of Zanesville passed at 1:45 PM Saturday, February 7, 2026, at her home.
She was born on Sunday, January 10, 1926, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harmon Brock and Beulah Stevens Brock.
Wava graduated from New Concord High School, class of 1945. She was a member of Sonora Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She owned and operated a beauty shop out of her home for many years. She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles and reading. She also liked canning and was a talented seamstress.
She is survived by her three children, Diane Oliver, Vickie Garrett and Greg (Cheryl) Spragg; five grandchildren, Steve (Carolyn) Oliver, Chris (Sarah) Oliver, Kaleigh (Cedric) Harris, Tyler Spragg and Tobias (Jennifer) Littick; six great grandchildren, Olivia Oliver, Cruz Harris, Caz Harris, Liam Spragg, Callan Spragg and Opal Littick; two granddogs, Abby and Ollie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Wava was preceded in death by, husband of 72 years, Kenneth Spragg; siblings, Katie Fisher and Herbert Brock; and a son in law, David Oliver.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Johnny Nolan officiating. Burial will conclude at St. Paul Cemetery.
