Weatherington Woods Opens Doors

A country themed wedding venue is now looking to host your big day.

Weatherington Woods on Olde Falls road officially opened today with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Mast family started planning this barn wedding fantasy when their very own daughter Olivia said ‘yes’ last year.

“I was engaged a year ago and we were looking and couldn’t find something that really fit what we had in mind so my mother and I and my grandfather, and the rest of our family sat down and starting putting our ideas on paper and we came up with Weatherington Woods,” said Olivia Mast-Przybyl. “So we have been in progress for about a year but construction started about 9 weeks ago. 7 days a week all day long we were here and it turned out wonderful.”

Olivia married her new husband this Saturday and she’s excited to see more local people from the community choose Weatherington Woods for their ‘I do’s’. She said it’s perfect for those who want an outdoor wedding but don’t want to pay extra for a back-up plan due to inclement weather.

“We were planning to be married outdoors in the gazebo but that morning it just would not stop raining and within 30 minutes we had a back-up plan,” said Przybyl. “We were married in here we went up to the top of the stairs and had our ceremony there. ”

The space provides tables and chairs, a bar space where you can provide your own alcohol, a D.J. booth, and many photo opportunities. You can also rent amenities like china, and center pieces.
