A Well of Hope Christian Preschool

Pre School

HOPEWELL, Ohio – A new preschool is opening next week.

A Well of Hope Christian Preschool located in the Hopewell Free Methodist Church will officially open its doors on Monday. Co-owner and teacher Stefanie Rodman said their goal is to offer parents a Christian option for preschoolers age 3 to 5. She said they felt the community was lacking the privately owned Christian schools and that this was an opportunity for them to change that.

“That was one thing in this area we lacked was a preschool,” said Rodman. “So I stayed home with my children because there really wasn’t a school to take the kids to, so we thought that this would be the perfect opportunity.”

Co-owner and teacher Stephanie Burkhart said right now their enrollment is light, but that they hope to have more kids enrolled soon. She said they are also working to be able to accept financial assistance, making the school an option for more people in the community.

“Our long-term goal is to be able to accept like financial assistance and stuff and kind of be able to be here for the people in the community and be a Christian option,” said Burkhart.

Burkhart said both her and Rodman are passionate about teaching and are excited for the year ahead. She said that they have open enrollment and that parents can register and start their children at any time. For more information about registration or the school, Rodman said they can be contacted through the church or through their Facebook page, A Well of Hope Christian Preschool.
