Well Known Member of Local Community Dies

A well known member of the Zanesville community has passed away.

80-year-old Ursula Weber Antonetz died Wednesday morning at her home following a long illness.

In addition to raising 11 children,Antonetz was active for many years in the Democratic Party including managing campaigns for both Senators John Glenn and Howard Metzenbaum.

She was active with the Muskingum County Board of Elections and retired from the Zanesville Municipal Court when Mayor Butch Zwelling served as a judge.

Hillis and Hardwick Funeral Home in Zanesville is handling the funeral arrangements which are incomplete at this time.
