Well Known Zanesville Man Dies

A well know Zanesville barber has died. 83-year-old Norman McCallister passed away Sunday at Genesis Hospital after a six month illness. McCallister, who was a veteran of the United States Army, worked at the Yankee Clipper in Zanesville for 48 years and had been inducted into the Muskingum County Country Music Hall of Fame. Calling hours are Wednesday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral which will be held at the Maranatha Bible Church on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. McCallister will be laid to rest with full military honors at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
