West Virginia Suspects — Muskingum County Connection?

The West Virginia State Police is asking for help identifying some suspects from thefts at a Wal-Mart and Target near Wheeling on Sunday. And they could be from Muskingum County. Trooper Scott Zimmerman says the two took almost three-thousand dollars in electronics and other items. He says the black male and black female entered the stores, made their selections, and went to the check-out. After getting the items bagged and back in the shopping cart the male took the cart and left the store while the female attempted to pay for the items with a bad check. After the check was denied the female left the store and got into the vehicle with the male who had already secured the items in their silver minivan. Investigators say the local connection comes from a Zanesville driver’s license used as identification while trying to pass the check. If anyone recognizes the individuals – you are asked to call the West Virginia State Police at 304 238-1100 or the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office. 740 452-3637.
