Whiteman Enters Not Guilty Plea
The attorney for a local school Superintendent charged with assault enters a plea in the case. Zanesville Municipal Court officials say that Todd Whiteman, the Superintendent of Foxfire School, entered a not guilty plea. A pre-trial hearing is now set for March 7th. Zanesville Police reports indicate they were called to 10-69 Terrace Court Saturday morning after Troi Allen reported being punched in the face by Whiteman. Whiteman, who is the head boy basketball coach at Maysville high school, has been placed on paid leave while the incident is investigated. The president of the Foxfire School board, Steve Desrosiers says they are also investigating the incident and conferring with their attorney before taking any action. The allegations against Whiteman do not involve Foxfire school or students.
