Who Will Face Zack Space in November?

We still don’t know who will face US Congressman Zack Space for the 18th district race this November.

The Republican nomination is still too close to call. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Bob Gibbs has a slight lead over Fred Dailey, but there are more votes to count, including overseas, provisional and absentee ballots.

Gibbs says it has been a competitive race, and he is going to continue forward with his campaign for November because he’s concerned about where the country is heading. Gibbs says he is looking forward to finding out the finals results, which could take another two weeks.

WHIZ news tried to contact Dailey for his reaction on the race, but he did not get back with us.
