Wildzfest is back for another Season

 Each year The Wilds kicks off its season with a festival full of fun.

The 5th annual ‘Wildzfest’ was held from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The day included a ‘kidszone’ full of bounce house fun as well as stilt walkers and a three man band. Dora and Diego even stopped by to greet children of all ages. The Wilds Vice President Rick Dietz said that the day is about getting the community excited about the upcoming season.

"Well we have a Wildzfest, like I said for the last five years, just as an awareness event and get the community involved and bring them out and just show them what we have to offer and have a good time for everybody," said Dietz.

"This past year we had one of our most successful seasons with our breeding programs so we have several baby rhinos, a couple of baby giraffes, a baby camel…lots of little animals for everybody to enjoy," said Dietz.
