Wilkey Arrested in 2014 Shooting

A Zanesville man wanted on multiple charges including attempted murder was arrested this past weekend.

Zanesville Police say Deylen Wilkey of Cliffwood Avenue faces two counts of attempted murder and aggravated robbery and one count each of felonious assault, aggravated burglary, and tampering with evidence. He is one of two men charged in connection with a December 11th shooting at 1236 Woodlawn Avenue that injured two people.

The other person charged in connection with the shooting Robert Barr has already been arrested. He pleaded not guilt to multiple charges including attempted murder, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. Wilkey remains in the Zanesville City Jail on $1,000,000 bond.
