William Benjamin Crawford, 86, of Zanesville passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016.
He was born in Newark, Ohio on June 3rd, 1930 to the late Harrison and Viva Bervard Crawford. He had been employed at Essex Wire, proudly served our country in the Army and was a POW of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Baker Crawford, four daughters: Cheri Martin, Sally Schooler, Sara Compton and Angela Crawford, three sons: Bill Crawford, David Crawford and Rick Crawford, a brother: Daniel (Shirley) Crawford, 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jessica Crawford, a great-granddaughter Gracie Nicole Schooler, a niece Sharon Peterson, brothers Robert Crawford and Harry Crawford, sisters Sandy Pasco, Ruth and Martha.
Calling hours will be from 1pm to 2pm on Friday, June 10th at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 2pm in The Snouffer Chapel with Larry Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors by the V.F.W. Post #1058.
