William “Bill” Searles

William “Bill’ D. Searles, 64, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 11:23am on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born on May 20, 1961 in New Lexington, Ohio to the late David H. Searles and Pauline Cunningham Searles of the home.

Bill will be remembered for following his father’s foot steps becoming a coal miner, running his own logging business and his overall unwavering love and dedication to his family; he attended Drakes House of Prayer.

In addition to his Mother, survived by daughter, Amanda (Joey) Searles; grandsons, Jordan and Chase Courts; brothers, Donald Searles, Charlie (Dianna) Searles and Jay (Dina) Searles; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his Father, preceded in death by his ex-wife, Tina Knox.

Calling hours will be held from 6pm-8pm on Monday, April 13, 2026 and from 10am-11am on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Millertown-Oakwood Cemetery, Corning, Ohio.
