William E. Richards (March 6, 1948 – August 28, 2015)
William E. Richards, 67, of Zanesville, passed away at 11:50 AM Friday August 28, 2015 at Willow Haven Nursing Home.
He was born March 6, 1948 in Zanesville the son of the late Delmar and Helen Virginia Lawyer Richards. A graduate of West Muskingum High School he served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. William retired after 30 years of service from the Chicago Illinois District 6 School System. He was a member of the IMRF Teamsters Union, an avid Ohio State Buckeyes Fan, enjoyed oil painting on canvas, loved to travel and for the past 15 years resided in Tucson Arizona.
He is survived by his sister: Phyllis (Ronald) Payton of Zanesville, 2 nieces: Karen Marshall and Cheryl (Larry) Cook both of Westerville.
There will no visitation with graveside services at 11:00 AM Monday August 31, 2015 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Pat Wiseman-Jones officiating.
