William R. Stevens Sr. (December 10, 1973 – March 25, 2014)

William “Bert” R. Stevens Sr., 40, of Zanesville, died at 2:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born December 10, 1973, in Zanesville, a son of William R. Stevens of Zanesville and Linda Sines Stevens of Philo. He worked for Pappy’s Towing, was a former member of Eagles Lodge #302, and he loved to camp and fish.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife Jennifer D. Thomas Stevens, whom he married June 5, 1998; two daughters, Sandra Pettry of Zanesville and Adrianna Stevens of the home; two sons, William Stevens Jr. and Jordan Stevens, both of the home; a brother Shane Stevens of Zanesville; a sister Misty (Richard) Humphrey of Hopewell; a special cousin Danny (Rachel) Pletcher of Philo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A dignified cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Bert’s Life at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, with calling one hour prior, at House of Grace, 2960 Maysville Pike, Zanesville, with Pastor Joe Dunlap officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
