Wilson Sentenced 32 Years To Life

A Columbus man is sentenced Monday in connection to multiple shootings including a murder. Muskingum County Assistant Prosecutor Ron Welch says 27-year-old Anthony Wilson received 32-years to life in connection to the shooting death of Isaac Thomas on Spangler Drive and a 2013 shooting incident outside Hoppy’s Bar on Putnam Avenue. Police say Wilson was involved in a confrontation outside of the bar and opened fire on a crowd striking four people. In the other incident Wilson shot Thomas during an argument over a stolen weapon in January of 2014. Last week a co-defendant in the Spangler drive case – Chad Morrsion – was sentenced to 60 months in prison.
