Winnie Derry (march 16, 1920 January 7, 2016)

Winnie L. Derry 95 of Lancaster, formerly of Zanesville, passed away on Thursday January 7, 2015 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Winnie was born in Morgan County to the late Sam and Mary Anderson Scott. She worked in the Accounts Payable Office of Putnam Transfer, was a member of; North Terrace Church of Christ, Christ Church of Fairfield and the Eastern Star. Winnie loved doing things for others; in fact her main passion in life was to help others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Winnie is survived by two sons; Jim (Pam) Derry and Rick (Marlene) Derry. She is also survived by two daughters; Janice (John) Hill and Janet (John) Cox, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great- great- grandaughter
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ellis Derry, a son Wallace Derry, a brother John Scott, and two sisters; Lucy Woodward and Alice Fluharty.
Calling hours will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday January 11, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. Military Road Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Snouffer Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Derry officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul’s Cemetery in Sonora, Ohio.
