Winter Escape Plan

Just one step out the door and it’s easy to see why people might be thinking about heading south for a much needed escape from the cold.

For AAA January and February are typically the busiest months of the year when it comes to booking vacations, and this year is no exception.

“Right now a lot of our members are coming in and they’re wanting to get away and either go on a Caribbean cruise or they’re driving south for the winter. Just trying to get out of the freezing weather right now,” said AAA Zanesville Manager, Rhoda Collins.

According to a AAA press release cruises remain one of the favorite vacation options this time of year. Favorite destination include Montego Bay, Jamaica, Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic and Cancun. According to Collins no matter what your budget, you deserve a get away.
