Winter Fun at John McIntire Library

The John McIntire public library is keeping kids and adults busy this winter season.

The library in downtown Zanesville has a variety of different activities for both kids and adults to help kick those winter blues. Assistant director, Blair Tom says this would be a great spot for kids to come out on a snow day to learn something new.

"Well we have a variety of opportunities, we have puzzles that they can come in and interact with some interactive toys, and then of course we have literacy stations where they can get online and listen to games and stories and go through different activities where they problem solve. So, those are great things to pass time when there’s cabin fever at home and they can come in and think through some things."

There are also plenty of activities that adults can enjoy and they can even take projects home for the entire family to participate in.

"For area adults we also have recipe books, activity-craft kinds of books and books for families to take home on projects they can do at home when they’re snowed in during the winter."
