Woman in Monday I-70 crash passed away

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Lt. Matt Boyd with the Zanesville post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol has confirmed that Brittany Darby has passed away as a result of injuries from a car wreck on Monday.

24-year-old Brittany Darby of Zanesville was traveling westbound on I-70 just east of Zanesville on July 25 when she was involved in a one-car rollover accident. The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Monday. She was taken to Genesis and transported to Grant Hospital in Columbus.

Darby passed away yesterday from injuries sustained in the wreck. Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home will be handling her arrangements.
